BOWIE
This Bowie's blade is 1/4" x 1 3/4" x 8 " long and is made from high carbon ATS-34 stainless steel. The blade is flat ground and mirror polished with a false edge clip. It has a full tang that supports stabilized Giraffe bone scales with black fiber spacers. The blade is triple tempered with a sub-zero treatment to ~ 61 Rc (Rockwell hardness). The front bolster is nickel silver and is dovetailed to accept the scales. The hidden bolts are nickel silver as is the pommel. The hand sewn 7/8 oz. leather sheath has silver plated decorative bolts and is dyed in a custom color.

KANSAS BOWIE
This Kansas Bowie's blade is 1/4" x 1 1/2" x 8 1/2" long made from A-2 tool steel. The blade has a satin finish and file work for 3 inches down the spine ending at the start of the clip. The blade has been triple tempered with a sub-zero treatment to 60/61 Rc (Rockwell hardness). The blade is flat ground and has a full tang. The oval guard is nickel silver as is the shoulder and pins. The butt cap and plate are stainless steel The handle is curly maple. The hand sewn 8/9 oz. hand sewn leather sheath is dyed in a British tan color.

LOUISIANA BOWIE
The "Louisiana Bowie" was a Christmas commission. This Bowie is 1/4" X 2" X 8 1/2" made from 440-C stainless steel with a mirror polish. The blade has been triple tempered with a sub-zero treatment to ~59 Rc. It has my "Broken Heart" choil and custom file work down 3 inches of the spine. The "S" oval polished guard and pommel are brass. The nickel silver, red fiber and black fiber spacers sandwich an African Blackwood handle. It has a through tang. The sheath is 8/9 oz. leather with a black finish. It is hand sewn and sports a new 1962 nickel (customer request). The snap cover has a floral design and is silver plated. The shoulders at the top of the sheath are custom made of nickel silver.
